Consultation

The Four Diagnostic Methods are fundamental techniques used in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) to assess a patient’s health and determine the appropriate treatment. They include:Inspection, auscultation and olfaction, Inquiry and Palpation.

Acupuncture (Acc)

Acupuncture is a key component of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) that involves inserting thin needles into specific points on the body to stimulate Qi (vital energy) flow. This ancient practice aims to restore balance and promote healing. Acupuncture is commonly used to treat various conditions, such as chronic pain, headaches, anxiety, and digestive issues.

Bloodletting Therapy (Ciluo)

Ciluo is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) technique and a type of bloodletting therapy. It involves lightly pricking the skin at specific acupuncture points or affected areas to release a small amount of blood, aiming to unblock the meridians, promote blood circulation, remove stagnant blood, and regulate the flow of Qi and blood.

Orthopedic Manipulation (Zheng Gu)

Orthopedic manipulation, or Zhenggu, is a traditional Chinese therapeutic technique aimed at adjusting skeletal alignment and restoring joint function. As a core method within traditional Chinese orthopedic medicine, Zhenggu involves techniques like manual repositioning and massage to restore the proper positioning and function of bones, joints, muscles, and ligaments. It aims to relieve pain, promote blood circulation, and support physical recovery. Zhenggu is an effective, drug-free therapy suitable for those seeking to improve bone and joint health through natural methods.

Tui Na

Tui Na, which translates to “push and grasp,” is a traditional Chinese therapeutic massage technique used in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). This hands-on treatment involves the manipulation of the body’s muscles and joints to promote the flow of Qi (vital energy), improve circulation, and alleviate various ailments.

Cupping Therapy

Cupping therapy is a traditional Chinese medicine practice that involves placing cups on the skin to create suction. This suction helps to improve blood circulation, relieve muscle tension, and promote healing by drawing out toxins and stagnant blood.

Scriping Therapy

Scraping is a traditional Chinese therapy involving the scraping of the skin with a smooth-edged tool, usually made of jade or ceramic. This technique stimulates blood circulation, releases muscle tension, and promotes the flow of Qi (vital energy).

Moxibustion

The moxibustion device combines traditional moxibustion with modern technology. It heats mugwort or mugwort extract using electricity to produce a warm therapeutic effect similar to traditional moxibustion. The device uses far-infrared heat to gently transmit the medicinal properties of mugwort deep into the skin. This warmth helps regulate blood and energy flow, unblock meridians, and promote overall health.
